There’s no better time to explore the public parks of Green Lakes than during fall. People of all ages can delight in the trails of varying difficulty levels. Cross five bridges along the 0.6-mile Hammers Trail. Or choose the Winnebago Trail Conservancy that’s just shy of a mile; once a Native American trail, it runs along an elevated shoreline where hikers can pause to admire the stunning sweep of Green Lake.
